I have only been around her a few times in the last ten years and yet I know her. Her eyes, her smile, the way she laughs. Yes, Tia is her own unique person but in many ways she is the best friend that I have known and loved most of my life. The week long visit flew by and I am grateful she let me capture a few pictures on the last evening of her visit.
Bear
He was never mine. "Bear" belonged to my older brother John. But my brother didn't need or really want a teddy bear. So I would gather Bear up and play with him when my brother wasn't looking (and that was most of the time) .It was never a big deal to John just something he could remind me of now and then, "he's mine you know" he would taunt. Bear was never "technically" mine just a borrowed friend, a guest at an occasional tea party or sleep over. But then one day it happened , there was Bear all alone on top of the trash heap. I was outraged, I snatched him up and ran to my brother. WHAT was Bear doing in the TRASH. My brother just laughed as older brothers do and said," teddy bears are for babies, so YOU can have him." I was to excited and young to be insulted. I explained to Bear that he was very lucky I found him, and that I would never put him in the trash.. I kept my word and Bear has been with me ever since. Hey John if you are reading this post,....... "he's mine you know".
Free Saturday !!!!
This is the first Saturday that I've been home in a while. So I thought I'd take some pictures just for me. Here is what I was able to get and I am most pleased with the results. Here's to a lazy Sunday
